Recently there was a lot of noise in the tourism industry about the quality of service. Such events have led to a travel agency and a tourist guide being penalized.

The Government is, however, still relying on the industry to voluntarily regulate its quality and hopes that improvement leading to better customer satisfaction could be made.

Despite all these discouraging news, it is enlightening to find a prominent travel agency, Morning Star Travel Services Ltd., with a total of 15 branches in Hong Kong and Macau, has spent some time in enhancing her quality of service by establishing and implementing an international quality management system ISO 9001.

The Company uses N. Law and Associates consultants to help speed up the whole process.

This well received system aims at satisfying customers needs while obliging to the Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong (TIC) rules. Continual improvement, positive customer complaint handling and regular measurement of the degree of customer satisfaction are the key element of the system.

The Company was audited by a leading worldwide Certification Body (BVQi) in November 2006 and got certificated according to ISO 9001:2000 covering the following scope of certification which includes all of her services :

ˇ§Design and provision of travel services including fully escorted tours, M.I.C.E. (Meeting, Incentive, Conference, Exhibition), local tours in Hong Kong and ticketing & hotel reservation services.ˇ¨
