21 August 03 : HACCP + ISO 9001 Certificate Presentation to North District Hospital

21 August 2003 was the date on which BVQI presented certificates to the North District Hospital for the achievement of HACCP & ISO 9001:2000 management system certifications. The certifications cover the Central Production Unit and Patient Catering Section of the Catering Department. This marks a great achievement of the Hospital in pursuing quality management for food production and at the same time ensuring that the foods are safe to be consumed by the patient. Note : HACCP - covers 7 principles of food safety controls and good hygiene practices ISO 9001:2000 - covers quality management of design and production Both of these are international standards used for certifications
