No. Q-002 -- Waste Lub-oil problems

I am running a small electronic factory in Hong Kong. If we generate around 50 cc of waste lubrication oil per month, can we just dispose of it in the toilet ? Would we get a nonconformity while being audited by the auditor during an ISO 14000 assessment ?

It is again the Law if you dispose of the chemical waste into the toilet (foul sewer).
Any nonconformity which violates the Law will be considered as a nonconformity and must be corrected before ISO 14000 certification can be granted. Our advice is to collect these oils for the proper disposal by licensed contractors.
