We are a professional architectural consultancy company. We are always aware of the importance of "Professional integrity" to our business and to our Clients. In what way (if any) does ISO 9000 address the requirement of this matter ?

Yes, we all agree that "Professional integrity" is vital to professional firms, like architectural consultants. ISO committee has also aware of this issue and thus has addressed the matter in the latest quality management system standard, ISO 9001:2000. Clause 7.5.4 of the standard covers the matter of the control and protection of customer (or client) property.
Your organization shall exercise care with such property while it is under your control or being used. You shall identify, verify, protect and safeguard customer property .......
